Halloween is coming......

Today we went for a drive to look at the changing leaves on the trees. One of the houses we passed on our trip had this in their front yard. I remember they had it last year too. The pumpkin head was larger at one time. I think it's starting to shrivel. But I thought it was a cute display anyway. It was nice to get out in the sunshine. We have been housebound for a couple of weeks now due to both of us having bad colds. We took our Chloe with us and all she did was whine. She wanted to be carried by hubby Bob as he drove. She knows better than to carry on when I am driving with her. She is well behaved and lays down. She knows I won't hold her as I drive, but Dad is a big push over. I also stopped at our local farmstand which is a large stand with a bakery and all. They had all kinds of apples and squash in forms I have never seen. They still had some corn on the cob all locally grown. And of course pumpkins galore. They have a hayride and the wagon takes kids out to the field to pick their own pumpkins if that is what they want to do or they can just choose one of the many there in the lot. I took some pictures of those too.

I love spending the day like that. I was out in the country at the camper and thankfully the sun did come out. No farmer's stands around though. It's a pretty time of year. 'On Ya'-ma

I just love that display. We decorate like crazy at our house. I do love the farmers stand around here even though I haven't gone this year. Have a great evening.
