Hump Day

Here is what my baby looks like when she is in need of a grooming. She has an appointment tomorrow. She has the neatest personality. Keeps us laughing all the time. Her hair usually stands up on top but when it rains she loves it and just walks around and sniffs the ground and comes in soaking wet. Her hair gets heavy and falls to the sides. It stands up again when it dries if we brush it. Obviously this time we didn't brush it. I had my neighbor (82 year old widow) call me a little while ago to tell me she saw me going out this morning and couldn't believe how much weight I've lost. It made me feel really good. I actually haven't lost more than a pound or two since I saw her but I guess she just didn't notice. We've had a dry couple of days and tonight the rain is supposed to start again. Last week our rivers were all getting higher but now they've gone back down close to normal. The temperature today was 50. I didn't even need a jacket. I was wearing a sweatshirt and I was warm enough. I am making some beef stew for dinner tonight. Comfort food. Good for a rainy night. Well, I need to go and check it so I will send this off.

Such a little cutie!!!! Great picture. It's so nice when someone notices the work we've done to make changes in ourselves, isn't it? :)

Stew does sound good. I have not made any for a long time. It does come in a microwavable dish already prepared though. You little dog is adorable. 'On Ya'-ma

Awww, doesn't she look so sweet!

The weather here has been strange lately and I was almost tempted to turn the electric blanket on last night - and here we are in summer! It should be 109 by the weekend, so with the fluctuating temps, everyone is feeling out of sorts and I can see a lot of colds coming on!

Save some stew for me! It sounds delicious right about now. :o)

Hey girlfriend...

What a sweet baby.... I'm in fur baby love... My Maltese Morley went to rainbow bridge a year ago (he had a grand mal seizure) I miss him sooo much! Even though I have Bear, my golden, who I love lots, I miss my "little" guy. Give your baby a hug and kiss from me ;-)

Wow, 50 degrees...we're suppose to get more snow and next week the highs in the single digits...brrrr, baby it's gonna be cold outside...

Well, take care and talk soon...

Awww what a cutie. My neighbor brought me some stew a couple of days ago. He cooks when he gets bored and the rest of us reap the benifits. lol.
Hugs, Joyce

what a gorgeous baby! You are lucky she does not have tear stains. My maltese has a terrible time with tear stains :(
