We are home......

On Tuesday we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Here is a pic of hubby and me at Bubba Gump's restaurant. Best clam chowder I think I've ever eaten. I even took 2 containers with me to eat on the way home. I went to the doctor yesterday and he came in to meet me on his last day of a vacation week. He removed some of the saline in my band and then I went to radiology to do a barium study. They xrayed my esophagus while I drank the barium. I got to watch the show and it was really cool. I could see the band and also see how the pathway narrowed as it approached the band and then opened again after passing through it. The results were the band hasn't slipped it was just too tight. He took out 1/2 cc and will leave it out until my one year check up appointment which is at the end of March. I still feel restriction but not as bad. Ah, relief at last. It's good to be home and now I am catching up on the laundry and today I need to empty out the motor home. I have included a few of shots at the aquarium. Great place to see and photograph. Thank you all for your kind words about my dilemma.

I'm feeling a little better today other than a sinus thing going on. I am eating only soup and other liquids. I will report in to the doctor tomorrow and we plan on being home on Thursday. I'll see if I can get an appointment for Friday. The weather is overcast today and in the 50s but the wind is blowing like crazy and that makes it feel colder. I know it's nothing like what the east and mid-west has been experiencing but I'm just saying.........

This picture is one of the many paintings in Hearst's Castle. Thank you to everyone who expressed concern over my health situation. Makes me feel so good to know you care enough to comment. Have a good Sunday.
