Time to Face The Music

Even though I can't eat much, what I ate was more than I usually do. This morning I can tell I overindulged a bit. I have a lovely plate of cookies that I made up of all the leftover cookies I had here. I took them with me yesterday hoping they would all be gone, only a small portion are gone. I took a tray of fresh veggies and a dip. I ate lots of these so that was good. But I did sample several goodies and a very small slice of pumpkin pie. I also had red wine which is heart healthy. :) So today I think I shall dispose of all the leftover cookies (since they are my biggest weakness). Also a trip to the gym to get in a really good workout should help. Then I'll make my way over to Macy's and see if I find something I can't resist.

Go for it Kathy! I like your attitude. I need to do the same thing. I would much rather find something at Macy's that I can't resist!

You are really doing great. I'm afraid I would not be able to dispose of a plate of cookies for sure. Have fun at Macy's!

I wish I had your attitude. I am starting Jan. 1st. like I always do. LOL We are heading to the mall now because I need a new blouse for my hubby family Christmas party on Saturday. I also have to go to the grocery store to get stuff to make 2 pies. I have been pretty drained the last few days but I have to push myself to do this. Cookies are my weakness also. Have a great day.

I was a good girl yesterday (Boxing Day here) and I threw out ALL the unwanted cookies and candies.
Except the Ferrero Rocher's. That would have been a sin

Pitch those cookies...YEAH! A great way to move forward!
I have so many leftovers right now, it's a shame! We could re-do Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with it all. I really have to learn how to cut back!! I hate to pitch it all but I'll bet it will all be pitched within the next two days.
Good for you for going to the gym too! I could not peel myself off the couch to even walk to get the newspaper on the sidewalk today!
As for your visit to Macy's--what a great way to avoid the cookies and reward yourself for going to the gym! So, tell us...what couldn't you resist?

Oh please, don't use the D word. I guess it's time for the anual New Years resolution to lose weight. UGH!
