Here is one of the season's newest babies. It's actually a twin, the sibling was out of this shot. Their mother is in the shot and she hasn't brought them out in public until this last week. At least we hadn't seen them. Usually by this time we've seen several mothers with their new fawns. But these are the only ones we have seen this year. The picture will enlarge if you click it. They are so precious. We had a great time this past weekend at our church
camp out and picnic. There was a water fight every afternoon between all the kids and one adult. It was a ritual. Fun to watch and take pictures of. It was a way for them all to cool off since we had such hot weather while we were there. I was so glad the weather cooled off yesterday. Now I have to pack the
motor home for our next trip to the lake to go fishing.

The little deer is precious. That's one thing we don't have around at the campground or at home. Course being in town like I am we shouldn't have any. We do get skunks and raccoons though as the river is just a block away.
What a beautiful picture. You are so lucky to be able to see them like that.
cuties!!
Oh, how sweet!
Glad camp was fun! Water fights. Maybe we should have one here at work. ha.
