I love this time of the year. I can't decide if I like spring or fall better. Spring is new and pretty pastels and budding flowers and new growth, but fall is the changing leaves in all the orange, red, brown, golds and pumpkins and the beginning of the end of the year holidays.
I got a phone call from my brother today and he told me he and his wife are coming to visit us. I am so excited. We've lived here seven years and he's never been here to visit us. Now I have to start planning some activities for us all and places to visit to give him the best of Oregon. I also have to start going through my house with a fine tooth comb to make sure it is clean. This brother is the neatnick of the family. I hope he doesn't mind cat hair. Molly is shedding terribly. I am glad I have a Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner. It should be fun, we haven't seen them in about 3 years so it will be lots of fun. Reminiscing our childhood and sharing stories of our grandkids, etc.
Well, I have to get busy with my daily things now. I can't go to the gym since they close every year the week before Labor Day for maintenance and other stuff. So I've been walking and trying to do stuff at home to keep my exercise up. Have a good day everyone.
I just remembered what I wanted to post about today. I started watching what I eat on Monday since I don't have the restriction with my band right now. I am using http://mydailyplate.com to keep track of my calories and nutrition and my activities. It's free and very easy to use. Check it out if you like. I decided I didn't want to have to lose weight that I have already lost when I get my band readjusted again. So I am keeping my calories under 1500, actually I have found that unless I stay under 1200 I don't lose weight so I will keep them within that range.

I am wanting to get a dyson. I have heard so many good things about them.
Thanks for the tip, I will have to check them out.
thanks for the tips on that site. I know I need to stick to at least 1500 aday but eat more and that's why I still gain. I should cut back and see what happens.
Oh how wonderful! No wonder you are excited---especially if you haven't seen your brother in 3 years! This has definitely been your year for visitors!
I love to get company but oooh all the prep work ahead of time sure can make you crazy! Right now if I had overnight visitors, they would take one look and run to the nearest hotel!!!
Yes, I love Fall too!
Good luck with the food intake...hopefully your life with restriction has helped you deal with life without it!
When will you be getting a fill?
Hope you are feeling better!
