Boy I think we all could use a hug today. It seems like the weather is terrible everywhere except Southern California. It's been very cold and foggy here for the last week. No rain just damp and freezing cold. Good weather for soup or chili or stew. I am looking forward to our trip. Only I have to go out to the motor home to get it ready and it's so cold out there. Maybe I will turn the heater on in there and wait until it's warm and then take care of inventory and stocking it. We have 3 couples going now and we all have places we want to see and things we want to do. So we may split up at times and do our own thing. I can't wait to see the sun again. It's funny because the surrounding areas here in Oregon do have sun. I guess I could drive to the coast for the sun or up to a higher elevation. But in due time I will feel warm sunshine on my face. The last two nights I had not much sleep. Chloe woke me and then I couldn't get back to sleep. Does anyone else go through that? My husband can go right back to sleep after getting up. Not me, I end up thinking about things I want or need to do and can't turn my mind off. So I may need a nap today. I just glanced over at my husband and he is snoozing right now. Darn!! NOT FAIR!! I would like to throw his chair out the door sometimes. He spends entirely too many hours occupying it. Well, I am off to start taking inventory of the motor home.

I envy your getting to take off this time of year and travel.
HUbby loves his chair too.
Husbands and their chairs seem to go together. I'd turn the heater on too before working in there. Sunshine will be just the medicine to chase those blues away!
(((Hugs )))to you - in case you still need one.
Yes, it's chili weather! I made a huge vat of it yesterday for the game and we're still eating it today. In fact, I think it's time for a fill....! I could eat way too much chili!
We're still dealing with snow and cold but there is some promise of above freezing weather in time for my big day (yes, it's Jan 23). Maybe the sun will shine!
Stay warm and cozy and think SUN!

P.S. Tonight I took over the new recliner...I think I'm beginning to understand the attachment...
BUT, if you quote me on that, I will deny ever saying it!
Sleep is so hard for me. I have to have perfect conditions and if anything wakes me up, I'm done for!
I'm afraid I'm like hubby. I love my chair and spend way too much time in it. lol. Enjoy your trip.
Hugs, Joyce
